NSTC 2027 Quantum Leap Research Program — Applications Now Open
- This program aims to draw on national research resources to establish a self-reliant, comprehensive quantum technology ecosystem and maximize Taiwan’s strengths in semiconductor manufacturing, IC design, silicon photonics, and advanced packaging.
- Research areas:
- General-purpose quantum computer hardware
- Photonic quantum technologies
- Quantum technology software
- Projects will begin on March 1, 2027, with a maximum duration of five years. Research teams are encouraged to collaborate closely with national research institutions, universities, and industry. Please refer to the attachment for further details.
- Interested applicants must complete and submit their online applications by October 26, 2026 (KMU’s internal deadline). Please also notify the Office of Research and Development so that applications can be compiled and formally forwarded to the NSTC.
