The Hondao Senior Citizen’s Welfare Foundation will hold the “6th Silver Power News Award – Thematic News Forum” on September 13, 2026. The Silver Power News Award aims to encourage the media to pay greater attention to issues related to an aging society and, through the influence of the media, promote an age-friendly society.
The sixth edition of the Silver Power News Award has recently concluded, with winning entries selected from the submissions. This event will explore not only practical approaches to preventive medicine and aging in place, but also how nature-based wellness and cultural and artistic interests can nourish the mind and help older adults regain autonomy in later life. The forum will also provide practical guidance on psychological self-care and financial planning for retirement, supporting the public in creating a fulfilling, secure, and comfortable later life.
