【Announcement】Application Guidelines for the Taoyuan City Government’s 2026 “Research for Taoyuan” Student Innovation and Applied Research Competition (Application Deadline: November 30, 2026)

To encourage college and university students nationwide to contribute to Taoyuan’s urban development through innovative ideas and applied research, the Taoyuan City Government is organizing this competition and inviting proposals in two categories: Innovative Ideas and Applied Research.

• Eligibility: Currently enrolled students at colleges and universities in Taiwan or abroad, including junior college, master’s, and doctoral students. Participants must have a full-time or part-time faculty member serving as their advisor. Applications may be submitted individually or in teams of up to five members. Each participant may join a maximum of two teams.
• Registration period: September 1–November 30, 2026. The organizer may adjust the schedule as needed. Please refer to announcements on the competition website for updates.
• Awards: The top prize is NT$30,000 in the Innovative Ideas category and NT$120,000 in the Applied Research category, with the latter disbursed in two stages.
