一、台方計畫主持人請依公告及案內附件說明，依科技部(以下簡稱本部)所定申請資格及要件程序向本部提出計畫申請；日方計畫主持人則請向日本國立研究開發法人物質.材料研究機構(National Institute for Materials Science, NIMS)承辦人詢問相關申請事宜。
二ˋ研究計畫受理及核定作業時程：
1.校內受理申請截止日期：2016年9月26日17:00
2.審查結果預定公告日期：2016年12月下旬。
3.計畫執行期間：2017年4月1日至2018年3月31日(或至2019年3月31日)。
三、限定合作領域及主題：Innovative Metallic Structural Materials
Based on the proposal theme, the proposal category could be：
1. Microstructures –property relationship in structural materials: microstructure
characterization,strength-elongation balance, toughness, reliability (creep,
fatigue, corrosion…) tribology, etc.
2. Advanced processing for structural materials: plastic processing, computationalmaterials design, coating, welding, etc.
